We’re delighted to announce that The Fox at Bulmer Tye has joined the Gusto Pronto family. We are proud to be a totally independent, family owned and run business. Our pubs are all individual but linked by our passion for great food, drink and service.
The Fox is a pub with a fabulous history and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Our aim is simple – to serve good food and drink at sensible prices in a relaxed, friendly and clean environment.
We know that not everyone wants the same thing. You might want a pint of local real ale at the bar… A bottle of wine and a grazing board on the sofas… A meal in the restaurant… A really good coffee with a read of the paper… Take your pick.
We’re passionate about wine and have created a list which offers a selection of old favourites combined with some more unusual and quirky wines. The common theme is that we believe they are all well made wines offering good value for money. Around 15 of our wines are available by the glass.
On the food side, the emphasis is on good quality, seasonal produce and, wherever possible, we source it locally. We love Sunday lunch and offer a great roast – bring the family or meet up with friends and catch up on your week.
We’re open from noon until late. So if you’re in need of a a locally roasted coffee in the in the afternoon, you know where to come.
Free wi-fi is available throughout the pub.
Children are welcome. Our kids menu is important to us. It is aimed at children under 8 and each dish is freshly prepared. You can also order a kids roast pork or beef on Sundays. Where possible, we are very happy to prepare smaller portions from our main menu. Baby changing facilities, highchairs, a toy box (and crayons!) are available.
We are canine friendly. Dogs are always welcome in the garden on a lead. If your dog is well behaved then we’re happy for you to have him (or her) on a lead in the bar or at some of our dining tables (please mention when booking). We do ask that you keep your dog out of the way as we hope you appreciate that dogs are not everyone’s cup of tea.
