the beerhouse

There was snow on the ground this morning but that won’t stop us as we fling open the gates to The Beerhouse garden at 5pm on 12th April!

Join us with your group of 6 or 2 households and raise a pint to this being a step in the right direction. We’re not taking bookings so just turn up to grab your table.

Our stretch tent and beer huts have heat and light but we’d suggest wrapping up for today’s Great British weather. Our friends at Pizzashed are extending their usual hours to celebrate our return this week so you can grab a bite to eat too.

You can get that longed for pint a little faster by downloading the NHS Covid-19 App (all over 16’s must be recorded for NHS Test & Trace) and the HOPT app (for ordering) before you visit. On arrival, scan our Test & Trace barcode, grab your table and order your drinks. Not using the NHS app or don’t have a smartphone?  We can record your details for Test & Trace and take your order manually but we ask for your patience with this if we’re busy. Don’t forget your mask as you’ll need to wear it to visit the toilet. For more information (including our opening hours and how we’re staying covid secure), visit our website:

weekends at the cadogan

Join us in the garden at The Cadogan from 12 noon on Friday 16th April for drinks, lunch and dinner from Friday to Sunday each week. We’ve added a heated covered section to an area of our patio and we are taking lunch and dinner reservations for those tables. We’re not taking bookings for drinks only but the remaining tables on the patio and in the garden will be available on a walk in basis so dress for the weather and come and see us. Our food offering will be along similar lines to July to December last year – an evolving menu with 3 starters, 4 mains and 3 desserts. Don’t worry, there will always be a roast on Sundays!

You can speed up your arrival by downloading the NHS Covid-19 App (all over 16’s must be recorded for NHS Test & Trace) in advance then scan our Test & Trace barcode on arrival. Not using the NHS app or don’t have a smartphone?  We can record your details. Don’t forget your mask as you’ll need to wear it to visit the toilet. weekends at the crown

Join us in the garden at The Crown from 12 noon on Friday 16th April for drinks and pizza in the garden from Friday to Sunday each week. We are dependent on the Great British weather as we don’t have a covered area.  Keep an eye on our social media channels if the weather is looking iffy as we won’t open if it’s bucketing down with rain. We’re not taking bookings so just turn up to grab your table.

can i book an inside table yet?

Yes, you can!

We’ve just launched bookings for our inside tables at The One Bull, The Cadogan, The Crown and The Fox (Bulmer Tye) from 17th May.  Our rooms at The Cadogan are also available to book from 17th May.

the one bull @ home

The One Bull @ Home will continue for this weekend and next weekend only as we’ll then be gearing up for re-opening the pub. Heat @ Home for Friday and Saturday evenings and ready to eat Sunday roasts. Get your orders in if you fancy a little bit of The One Bull in your home. Don’t just take our word for it – check out what the East Anglian Daily Times had to say recently about our Heat @ Home meals:

vino gusto

From today, we can finally sell you alcoholic drinks for collection again! You’ll find a new Click & collect option when you order online. Our standard collection days are Friday-Sunday but if you’d like to collect on a different day, just add a note to your order and we’ll get it sorted. You can collect wine, beer and gin with your The One Bull @ Home order once again or continue to order our Heat @ Home menu for delivery with a wine order on Fridays and Saturdays.

From 17th May, Vino Gusto re-opens as a physical wine shop at The One Bull 7 days a week during pub hours. National delivery will continue and free same day local delivery continues 7 days a week until 17th May (IP28-IP33 on a £20 spend).

brewshed

Our brewery shop had a great final weekend. We’re now turning our attention to stocking the pubs ready for opening but you can get Brewshed cans from Vino Gusto or from our pubs as they re-open.

the small print

The rules for what qualifies as ‘outside’ for pubs state that any partially enclosed space must be 50% open to the elements. All our covered areas meet this criteria.

We continue to work as a very tiny team prior to re-opening. To contact us before the pubs re-open, please e-mail info@gustoprontoltd.co.uk (or info@theonebull.co.uk for The One Bull @ Home orders) and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Thank you again for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at one of the pubs soon.

Best wishes

David & Roxane Marjoram
